Background
Covenant Odedele is a third-year medical student at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. As a student, his mission is at the nexus of building a conducive campus community that can viably contribute to economic and national development.
Covenant is very passionate and heavily invested in social entrepreneurship and innovation, alongside civic engagement, with about three years of experience in volunteering and managing social impact projects.
He founded Students on LinkedIn, a social enterprise at the forefront of helping university students capitalize LinkedIn profitably and maximize opportunities, reaching 3000+ students in over 15 countries. He was recognised with the 2023 Princess Diana Award for his impactful engagements.

In his role as the Convener/Chief Administrator of The Congress NG, Covenant has been instrumental in fostering discussions on individual contributions to national development, particularly within the Nigerian campus circuits. Through visionary collaborations with renowned organizations like BudgIT Nigeria, CivicHive, Wennovation Hub, EiE Nigeria, YMonitor, and The Future Project, he has spearheaded innovative initiatives. Notably, the state-of-the-art civic conference named “The Ripple Effect: Personal Transformation for National Transformation” held in Ibadan, Nigeria, in October 2022, stands as a testament to his commitment. This conference aimed to ignite personal leadership among Nigerian youth, a goal that aligns seamlessly with his platform’s mission.
Looking ahead, his upcoming conference at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) demonstrates his continued dedication to nurturing and inspiring the youth community within the institution. His tireless efforts and strategic vision reflect a profound commitment to driving positive change and empowering the next generation of leaders in Nigeria.
